STAGES
Courses for the discovery of ceramics are organised throughout the year, with the possibility of accommodation on site, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
RAKU
Learning techniques in the ceramics universe, the different clays, making sensory contact, modeling techniques (pinching, plaques, stamping, coils), working on volumes, charging and biscuit firing, enamelling and firing of the pieces in a gas-fired raku oven.
2 days of modeling, 1 day of enamelling and raku firing.
PORCELAIN
Learning techniques in the ceramics universe, the different clays, fabrications and uses of paper porcelain, experimentations, casting porcelain, dyeing in the mass and various uses.
3 days of modeling, pieces fired 2 weeks after the course.
SMOKED SOILS
Learning techniques in the ceramics universe, the different clays, making sensory contact, modeling techniques (pinching, plaques, stamping, coils), working on volumes, charging and biscuit firing, theory of the different smoking techniques and oven construction techniques, firing of the pieces in the smoking oven(s).
2 days of modeling, 1 day of preparation and smoke firing.
Finished pieces to be taken home.
